The Polls Are Open!
Hi everyone, I just wanted to take a moment today to introduce you to a small new addition to the website.
If you let your eyes wander over to our sidebar on the right of the website you will notice we’ve opened ‘a little poll’. We’re going to be running polls throughout the year on all things photography and photoshop to gauge your preferences and opinions on topic!
Every few week’s we’ll give you another poll to register your vote in and report to you the results as well as some insights.
Getting the Ball Rolling
Our first poll of the year is to help Stu and myself decided on the first Little Photoshop project of 2010. We have both an Essential Lightroom training masterclass and a brand new edition of the ever popular Storybook Album Designer v6 – Actions and Expansion Pack.
We’re looking to hear which of these sparks your interest and why. Once you have made your vote you can also let us know why by posting a comment. We love to hear your feedback.
Finally
if you have a topic photography or photoshop related and you would like us to feature it in the poll, please drop us an email via the contact form or just leave a comment and have a chance to have your query as our featured topic.
As ever, we love your feedback and hope to spark some great discussions in 2010 with a little poll.

I’ve voted for the brand new Storybook Album Designer 2010 actions & templates kit since I don’t have Lightroom and don’t have any plans to buy it, and the Storybook Album Designer is a great way to quickly produce a really creative album.
I’m looking forward to seeing the results of the poll.
I also vote for the Storybook Album Designer, we always trying to make better templates and original, so with your expertise, we could create fabulous albums, foror kids, anniversaries, weddings, birthdays, valentine, Christmas, Easter, graduations, mother-father’s day, for our best friend “The Dog”, for music design album, school year book, family tree, and many other ideas like classic, elegant, grunch, funny, Victorian layouts. A Storybook Album Designer will be a great add to expand our collection and learning from Stuart actions and his ideas.
I’m sitting on the fence and voting for both!
I’m just recently got lightroom 2.6 and whilst making inroads with trying out some of the presets would love to learn more. Still can’t really get my head around teh importing images options and where files are actually stored. I seem to end up with mising file sin lightroom!
As someone who is often designing albums and templates an update to the Storybook (I have the previous versions and enjoy using them) will be much welcomed. still looking orward on how to used those shaped faders!
Voted for the brand new Storybook Album Designer 2010 actions & templates kit since I don’t have Lightroom and like Catherine I don’t have any plans to buy it.
The Story Book Album Designer both the original and the version 4 must be the most used of all my actions. I just can’t wait to see how these can be improved upon as they are both excellent must haves and save loads of time to make great layouts for albums and pages. Out of all the actions Stu has created these are the best!
I do not have lightroom and I am not thinking of buying it.
Theres some interesting comments and thoughts from you all. Storybook v6 is going to blow you away. Its much streamlined and has quite a few new tricks up its sleeve…. I am also really pleased with the Lightroom videos I have recorded so far. The poll will help us decide which we focus on first.
I too don’t have Lightroom so have voted for Storybook v6.
A good Lightroom DVD is missing from the market and I’ve jumped ship away from photoshop for my multi aperture work as it’s more effective to use and hell of a lot faster.
Having said that I’m open to switching back.
Needless to say I voted for Lightroom.
